New alert feature: crying, one more step towards personalized support

We are announcing the launch of an innovative new feature for Caregivers' Augmented Ear: the Crying detection.

This alert makes it possible to inform the healthcare teams in case of detection of crying within the establishment, in order to optimize the support of residents and to better meet the needs that are expressed differently in each person.

Why the crying?

This feature doesn't just target crying associated with sadness. Crying can have multiple origins : discomfort, physiological need, call for help or simple natural expression. Thanks to this alert, the support of all residents is facilitated, including those who express their needs in a different way, while respecting their privacy and without intrusion.

A wide variety of alerts

The Augmented Ear of Caregivers now reaches a capacity of detection of more than 150 sound events :

• Falls,
• Drumming,
• Vomiting,
• Calls for help or comfort,
• Vocal distress... and now, crying.

Caregivers are alerted or notified in case of need or distress, allowing them to intervene effectively while optimizing their daily organization. The solution is continuously adapted to the needs of the teams and the specificities of each establishment, in very close collaboration with our customer service.
